LGBT History
Where I come from and where I'm going The history that we have been taught so far has always had a macho and heterocentric bias. For this reason, we consider it important to revisit the chapters under the lens of what we might call LGBT History. No one should, however, understand this history as an identity issue, but as an attempt to illuminate relevant issues of humanity that have been hidden, more or less consciously, throughout the previous millennium, such as those that have to see with their varied and important sex life. This concealment has reinforced these false beliefs about what is right and what is not. If we look back without preconceived ideas, we can see that each of the different societies integrated sexual diversity differently in each age, both in the form of normality or rejection, as creating culture, but always leaving a mark in their words and in the art. In the articles you have below we discuss sexuality throughout history as well as events relevant to LGBT people.Federico García Lorca and his Ode to Walt Whitman
