Gay Dictionary Bosnian
How to say gay in Bosnian
Below are the words of our Bosnian Gay Dictionary that we will expand in new editions. If you know any more, please, contact us. But first some information about the language and where it is spoken.
Bosnian language is a South Slavic language belonging to the Indo-European family, spoken by four million people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Is considered a distinct language of Serbian, Montenegrin and Croatian forming with these a dialectal continuum. After the independence, it replaced the Serbo-Croatian as a co-official language with Serbian and Croatian.
Homosexuality and, in general, sexual diversity have been legally protected in Bosnia and Herzegovina since 1996, and gradually legislative measures of equality and protection against discrimination have been implemented. Adoption or equal marriage is not allowed, which is rejected mostly by society, and same-sex couples are not recognized either, although the existence of several associations that fight for LGBT rights will end up producing the necessary social change.
As you can see, this gay dictionary shares elements with the rest of the gay dictionaries of Slavic languages, in which the intentional relationship between pederasty and homosexuality is very clear.
