The literal translation into English of the Valencian word “fogó” is a stove, which is the name given to the right place to make fire and cook. This word, used in the towns of Cullera and Sueca, has its origin in the boys who did not go out to play and play pranks with the rest of the street kids, and who stayed at home in the maternal warmth and in the kitchen, although it may also be related to that it is also a slang for ass.
